Works on paper…
Mall Galleries in London will have its brand new Threadneedle Space ready for The Threadneedle Prize for Painting and Sculpture, which in its fifth year has become the largest prize in the UK for a single work of art.
Design for an art prize spans months. It involves balancing multiple deadlines for call for entries, show publicity and event materials and ensuring that entries are reproduced as accurately as possible. The design itself is almost-invisible: it’s a quietly well-engineered framework. After all, what we want people to look at is the art.
